The internet is finally hooked up and now I can let you fine people what is going on.
We left Saturday morning and drove all the way to Tifton Georgia and stayed at my Aunt Pauline's house. She is a true southern lady and even though she is 90 years old she keeps a wonderful house and loves to have company. She fed us and and then she fed us again and again. Bud said if we keep eating like this they will have to roll us to Florida. My cousin Pat cooked for us too and it was wonderful. She came over and gave us a real nice tour of their town and farms.
We left there on Monday morning and got here about 1 p.m. John, our neighbor helped Bud unload the car. We saw most of our neighbors and now we are in the midst of unpacking and getting straighten up.
I went to Wal-Mart and loaded up with groceries. What a job!! I am used to Bud helping me and with his knee he can't so I guess the party is over for me. Ha Ha.
We got a recommendation about an orthopedic doctor and we have an appointment for Thursday morning.
I went to Bob Evans and checked on my job. The boss asked me what days did I want to work, I told him the same as last year and he said, Okay, works for me. They are so nice to me. He said business is been very good but the job market is terrible. He put an ad in for one dishwasher position and got one hundred applicants. A few years ago we couldn't fill any of the positions, no one wanted to work. How times change.
So I start Friday.
Our good friends, the Mancos were here today and helped us with our internet problem. We had the wrong cord. I don't know how that happened, Bud has hooked this up a hundred times. Oh, Well, Ray came to the rescue and for that I am grateful. Being without my computer is just awful.
We went down the street and checked on my sister's house. Everything looks okay. The owner left everything, even a nice set of golf clubs in the garage. I might just be using them.
It is raining out now and I have been running all day so I think I will call it a day and log off for tonight.
