Spectacular Three Days

On Friday we left for the Strawberry Festival at 10 a.m. We met all of our friends from Ft. Myers at Buddie Freddie's Restaraunt in Plant City and had lunch before we went into the festival. At the festival, which was huge, we had our strawberry shortcake, etc. We saw several shows that were free but excellent. We saw Dennis Lee, who is a wonderful entertainer, and also Vocal Trash who were good and had lots of energy. Then in the evening we saw Jeff Foxworthy. He put on a great show in the arena that held 15,000 people. I had heard most of his jokes before but there were some new ones too. He had the audience in the palm of his hand.
On Saturday we golfed with the neighborhood gang. Then we went to Pam and Rod to meet some friends of ours from Michigan. Then we went to a tailgate party and we played night golf. We had a ball. Bud won $15, which his only source of income these days.Golfing twice in one day is great..The evening was warm with a full moon. It was a beautiful evening.
Today I worked and had to get up really early (5:30 a.m.)to be there on time because of daylight savings time. Then we went to Pam and Rod's for a steak dinner, our payment for helping Rod with the kitchen. Then we went bowling. We took all four points, by the hair of our chinny, chin, chin. That is way too much stress for me....
But we pulled it off and had fun..So now that I can hardly move, I am going to bed.
